Summary: After months of listening to my friends talk about how great BF2 is, I finally broke down and installed this mother of all First Person Shooters (FPS). I am usually more of a Civilization type of player, and typically can't stand playing online multiplayer games.
Summary: This game is proof that Electronic Arts can MAKE a good game, but it's also proof that they can't make it run. I have both BF2 and the expansion, and with both I've had nothing but trouble trying to log in and play the game. Esspecially if I try to use it with GameSpy.
Summary: Will you need major upgrades at high to run this outstanding game? Perhaps not. With my non-gamer PC, I did have to upgrade my 64MB video card to run BF2. Found a 256 MB card with the nVidia FX 5700 chipset on sale for $79 after rebate.
Great new BF game but bad preformance on most sytems and cards!

Summary: I have been playing the BF series for about a year now and I am not going to say anything new that the other reviewers haven't said about this game. If you like combat and single/multiplayer battles then you should like this game.
Summary: I managed to get it installed, after finding the BF complete collection more trouble then its worth., and found that good memories of the game are best left as memories. I have a 30 in wide screen monitor, and the multiplayer graphic options, are not up to the latest graphic settings, plus the...
Excerpt: Battlefield 2 is an online war simulation game, based on modern combat. It is actually a pretty old game, but that doesn't stop it being good. Here is the review. Battlefield 2 is more of a family of games, as there are about 4 "expansion packs" (special ops, euro fighters...
Excerpt: I Bought this game 3 years ago, It was on sale (The "Deluxe" edition with all DLC content) and extremely cheap. The game itself is extraordinarily fun to play since i play with a few of my friends. The Squad system makes things a whole lot easier than, say, Call Of Duty.
Pros: Great Gameplay, Fun to play with Friends, Many Tactical Options, Squad system is near - perfect
Cons: Pretty Mediocore Graphics, No Killcam, Balancing Issues
