Summary: Ok, I'm a soldier that returned from Iraq several months ago and some boys in my platoon wanted to get a game we could all play together. So I decided im going to buy a sweet machine from alienware and I did just that. FX-55 processor, 2 gigs of ram, 7800 GTX SLI video cards, the whole shabang... When I installed this game I immediately had a crash creating an account!
Summary: Ok first off let me state that this game is one of the richest and most complete gaming experiences i have ever had on any console ever. This game is bf1942+beautiful graphics+awesome sound+better gameplay=Amazing experience. That said this is only true if your machine can handle it and when i say machine i'm including your internet connection.
Summary: Battlefield 2 is obviously getting a bit out of date now, but it's still an enjoyable game, and for only £4, it's definitely worth the money, if only to see what Battlefield 3 might be like. I liked it, although it does get frustrating on Expert level how easily you get killed. The online would be really good, if it weren't for the fact that a lot of them like to ruin it and kill you for fun. Still, for the price, it's worth getting.
Summary: The seller of the game was very good and with the fast shipping was excellent. As for the game i was looking for more of a single player game. But as far as the game it is great for multi-player.
Summary: Most people who have played battlefield 1942 will be interested in this one as it is basically the same game just with much improved graphics and set in the modern theatre of war, the following paragraph is for those who don't know what this type of game is about: There is a vast map with flags situated in key positions on it, and each team start by owning a given number of flags which they must defend.
Summary: Battlefield 2 is evolutionary rather than revolutionary. At its heart is a much-improved engine over Battlefield 1942 and BF:Vietnam, but there is a lot about the game that still feels half-finished, not least the gameplay. It would be easy to categorise BF 2 as a first-person shooter. It isn't - it's a mix of FPS and strategy game where teamwork is required to capture and hold key objectives on the battlefield.
Summary: This game has been one that has been eagerly awaited by most gamers. The idea and gameplay is excellent, however there are so many bugs within the game that you can't take advantage of this. These bugs include freezing in the multiplayer lobby, some graphical glitches in the game and lag in both multiplayer and single player mode. This was all fixed though in the recently released v1.01 patch - which was a godsend for those who experienced the above problems.
