There's definitely a fine line between arcade accessibility and accurate modeling. Even in an arcade game, a plane should fly like people who know nothing about aviation expect planes to fly. Things like torque and fuel mixture shouldn't matter, but things like gravity and speed should. Battle for Europe will sap any enthusiasm that you have for the game from the very beginning and won’t do anything to generate any fun or excitement if for some reason you decide to stick with it. Look for your flight thrills elsewhere. Read more
Game does in fact play with a joystick...Well at least mine does..using a Saitek...However played Secret Wepons of the Lufwaffen about 10 years ago and this game just dosnt stack up aginst it...seems less plane detail and just not much on the realistic front...given SWOL was a decade ago this hasnt moved on much since then...Playability wise it is good fun though but missions are to few...think there are only about 8...overall a good bud..jet :-) buy but wanted far more... Fun: Easy to use, good grafics, loads ov levels, I am not a gamer and I can use this to the full. Many games i cannot use all the levels coz they is just 2 hard but this can be worked through. Briliant. Read more
