Summary: 4 Stars I found the game enjoyable but not as great as the previous two Arkham games. Arkham City expanded upon Arkham Asylum and pushed the boundaries. Arkham Origins feels more like a continuation of Arkham City, in the sense that most of the gameplay elements are the same and it doesnt do anything to push the limits of the Arkham series (like Arkham Knight plans to do).
Summary: I am at best an occasional game player and I have never played online, therefore this may not be as complete as needed for purchasing. Having said that, I must admit that the entire Batman Series, Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Arkham Origins, have been exceptional games. The Graphics are great and the game play keeps me occupied for months, but I'm not a full time player. I guess once you become an expert these can get boring for they are basically all the same games.
Summary: A worthy prequel to the Arkham series, this game features an expanded Gotham City based on the one seen in Arkham City and a new array of cuasi-obscure villains to defeat such as Copperhead or Firefly. The random "crime" generator is bound to keep you entertained long after the main story as ended. The story itself is well-written even though it was a bit short for my liking, and I also found the challenge maps from City to be much more, well, challenging and original.
Summary: If you've enjoyed any of the previous games in the series, you'll enjoy this one as well. I'm not a fan of the multiplayer aspect but if you're into that sort of thing, that is a new addition to the franchise.
Summary: very good game and very good story but Arkham City is still currently the best of the series. Origins and Arkham City are very similar game play wise. if you loved Arkham City you will like Origins.
Summary: So, for starters, I am a HUGE Batman fan and Arkham City is quite possibly my favorite game of all time. Needless to say I was very excited when I finally downloaded this game. The sequences with Joker are amazingly demented, the cutscenes look they belongin a full length feature film, and the gameplay in general is just fun. However, the story itself feels a bit shallow and lacking at times, especially since only hardcore fans will understand some of the characters.
Summary: Batman Arkham Origins is a pretty good game but it doesn't do anything new with the formula. It might as well be called Arkham City 1.5. It has pretty much everything that made Arkham City great but also some new issues. Some of the new voice actors, like the voice actor for Batman, aren't very good and sound flat. The first half of the game in general is also a little boring and it doesn't really heat up until the second half.
Summary: I made a mistake, two actually, during the download process, and your customer service staff were fast, competent, friendly, and able to solve my problems quickly and efficiently. In fact, I am more impressed with your customer service than I am with the game. I will certainly use Amazon for future purchases.
