Summary: Bought it for achievements. Pic shows GFWL. Of course Steam download but I assume it came with normal CD Key but no GFWL and no normal CD key I bought this for Arkham City I already own Asylum and don't care about Origins.
Summary: Troublesome game - technically. Crashes sometimes, often FPS drops to 1-2 FPS, even if running on high-end PC. Bosses in boss-fights are disappearing, making it impossible to progress with story line. Gameplay is really good, when the game is technically working and gives much satisfaction and freedom.
Summary: I write this review with almost 30 years of gaming experience under my belt. I have beaten many games before, including this games Predecessor Batman: Arkham City which I absolutely loved. I am also a huge Batman fan in general. I expected a lot from this game and was sadly and sorely disappointed with Arkham Origins.
Summary: They missed the mark on this game. Playing the first time around is not bad, but new game plus seems to be designed for people who have plenty of time on their hands to practice their moves so they can beat the baddies - no fun. Arkham City - much more fun.
Summary: I purchased this game last year but stop playing due to bugs in the pc version which cause me to be stuck in certain areas plus I couldn’t get into the storyline at all. I just recently forced myself to finish this game and write a review about what I thought about it. I just wanted to say I absolutely loved arkham asylum and city which are two of my most favorite games ever. However this one was the worst one of them I felt.
Summary: It can't even recycle material in a fun way. I have no idea what version others had played. Sure from a technical standpoint the game has great gameplay (although much sloppier than City) but it feels like someone sucked the soul right out of it. The voice actors try their best but Gotham is boring and empty. They added a giant bridge and a bunch of empty lots to the original Arkham City map. I mean I'm not going to go on and on just to repeat what others have said.
Summary: Misplaced Zeal is the perfect desicription of this game. This 20 gig monstrocity spends so much rtime worrying about the technical issues that it forget to make the story one i would care about. Now i'll preface this by saying that i am a huge fan of the previous two games, but this game left me feeling cold. The developers essentially took the engine design from the last game, made a handful of newish things & then half arssed the rest of the design.
Summary: I loved the two previous Arkham games by RockSteady, unfortunately this is from a new team and it shows. The environment doesn't draw you in like the previous games. Everyone is a henchman, goon, criminal -- this is suppose to be Gothem preArkham. The Deathstroke fight early on is an example of frustration lacking rewards. The camera changes direction all the time which is annoying enough on it's own never mind that your attacks are based on the direction your facing.
Summary: This game gets 2 stars based on game crippling bugs that don't have a clear fix and can cause you to lose your save file. The devs don't seem very concerned or motivated to fix them so they are probably around to stay. There are many of these bugs, so I recommend a Google search. The "Ozzy" bug is a big one, so definitely read up on that. My issue was similar to the Ozzy bug, except I never got an error.
