Buyer Beware re: "Games for Windows Live" video games

Summary: Ok price for the basic disk-based PC version of this video. (After I received the purchase, I actually found a better price through a STEAM download.) The real problem was post-installation compatibility issues given the "Games for Windows LIVE" requirements. I tried to use the disk through my own GFWL account but couldn't get it to work because GFWL was been discontinued by MicroSoft within the past year. Who knew?
Summary: This is a great game, however it is not the game that I am reviewing here. More specifically it is Windows Live Game Center, which is the program that is used for save games. I am not able to play this game right now because the save game does not work. I am running on Windows 7, I definitely have the hardware capable of running it, but windows game center is clearly a broken program. Saving games and progressing is the most major component of a single player game.
Cons: Game has been activated already by another microsoft games live account. So pretty much it's useless to me as you cannot save games without connecting to microsoft games for windows. awaiting response from newegg to see what they suggest.
Summary: it's frustrating the excessive protections they used on this game... It really makes me miss the old days when you just pop in the CD and it works even on PC. I'm glad they knocked 15 bucks off the price but I still wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't a freebie. most of the random lockups have been fixed so it is playable on PC as long as if you keep DX11 turned off...
Pros: Awesome graphics in DX9, fun gameplay, interesting storyline with an amazing ending.
Cons: Can't be run in DX11, This game came free with my graphics card so it wasn't like I could return it but the company pretty much abandoned work on getting DX11 working since it was pretty much declared since it hasn't gotten any better since December. The game uses Securom, so it's really annoying but they only let you put it on 6 computers so if you get a new computer or put it on your friends computer or reformat etc you only have 6 reinstalls then the game is gone.
Summary: I will never, ever buy a Game for Windows Live product. In fact this single product has made me question pretty much every single piece of software made by Microsoft all together. I used to own Microsoft stock. That changed about 2 days ago. The reason is quite simple: a company that so blatantly disrespects its customers will simply not survive in the long term. The DRM requirements of this game are beyond unreasonable, they are simply ridiculous and idiotic.
Summary: Please allow me to start by saying I typically feel bad for software vendors that produce PC games. There are so many different configurations that need to be tested and supported! However, after having pushed my way thru hours of playing this game and seeing all the issues on the batmanarkhamcity.com forums, I can say this game was not properly tested by the software developer (Rocksteady) and is failing miserably.
Summary: Running Mac OS 10.8.4 ~ 3.4 Ghz i7 iMac and the game crashes several times during fast play, last time I lost my game file. Have to start all over. 1 WEEK LATER .... After some further trouble shooting, I found my display sleep prefs had a hot corner set. This caused many issues, the worst being the program wouldn't come back. Activity monitor showed it was still running, but inaccessible. So it was 50/50 crashed, inaccessible.
