Batman: Arkham City

An action-adventure stealth video game, Batman: Arkham City is the upcoming game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros, DC Comics and Interactive Entertainment. This game is based on DC Comics’ Batman and is one of the titles in the Batman series. Batman: Arkham City was announced at the beginning of 2009 at Spike Video Game Awards and is set to release in late 2011. This game takes place after the events of Arkham Asylum. Quincy Sharp, a former warden of Arkham Asylum has stopped the Joker and used that notoriety to be the mayor of Gotham City. Then, Sharp buys out a big section of Gotham’s slums and tries to create “Arkham City”. Prisoners are bought into Arkham City and are allowed free rein as long as they do not try to escape. Meanwhile, Two-Face makes a plan to publicly execute Catwoman. That’s when Batman enters Arkham City himself to stop the execution.

Features

Batman: Arkham City is an action video game where the game will have both single player and multiplayer. This game has more puzzle elements including the use of Batman’s “Detective Mode” which has a feature which highlights elements like enemy skeletons and the mode could also be used to carry out forensic analysis at crime scenes. What’s more, players have access to a criminal database that follows the main villains across the city and this game will have challenges from the Riddler as well. For single player, players will control Batman making his way in Arkham City to complete the mission. There’s both primary mission and secondary mission, which features a number of characters and stories. Other than that, there’s an improved version of the combat system. However, for multiplayer, there will be many features such as playable characters.
