A Old Classic Is Made Better
7 June 2014
Summary: I was skeptical when I saw the announcement for an enhanced of BGII. I suspected that it was likely no more than a few cosmetic improvements just so the producers could claim it was "enhanced". After seeing some more detailed write ups as to what it offered and a comment or two from other gamers I thought it might be worth a try. I am so glad I did. I am still early in the game but wanted to write on what I have seen so far.
Summary: I played this game back in the day and the one thing I hated was my computer was a bit too crappy to handle it. Well, who's laughing now, buck-cheeks??? My lightning fast 'I'm 40 years old and can buy what I want' laptop can run any game smoothly, even that one with the thing that makes the screen freeze, so now I finally get to play this game fer realz. YES!!!!
Summary: If you played the original Baldur's Gate you'll love this version. It simply makes it so you can run it on a new PC. If you have never played it and think you would enjoy a classic Hack and Slash RPG give Baldur's Gate a try!
Summary: Seriously - I've played this game roughly once a year for the past 12 years or so. It's never gotten boring, or dull - the replayability is great, the characters are great, the game is simply the greatest game I've ever played.
Summary: I thought this game was very well done compared to the original. I really like the second game where your character is 20+ level and has great power. If they came out with an Icewind Dale I would buy that too. Great story line, easer to play. Good job!
Summary: Very easy to complete download, absolutely no issues! A great game that is a classic in my mind that has been revamped...brings back alot of memories! I really enjoy Steam as well! Gave 5 stars because there was absolutely no hassles and if there had bbeen a single issue, Amazon was prepared to help and/or make it right. Feel like a valued customer with you!
