Summary: This game is great for anyone looking for an adventure RPG game. Having been based on the fantasy realm of Dungeons and Dragons, it already has a massive story background which it dives right into and utilizes to the fullest. Very fun experience, and I would recommend this game to just about everyone I know.
Summary: I just digged into this game, and I must say, theres alot to be had about it. Mix D&D, TES and old school Runescape (you know, when it was good), and you have Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance. As you level, you start from your base class and it you beoome more specified, say, and Archer will become an Arcane Archer by level 2. I highly recommend getting a used copy of this game if youre an RPG bro like me. Totally worth it.
Summary: Got this game just exactly as described. And got it fast! It was so fun to be able to replay an old game and get my kid into an old school game at the same time. For an old school game it has the fun and realism to stand up with the current games.
Summary: baldurs gate is a good rpg the game is realy fun and is worth getting there are 3 caracters to choose from an archer a dawrf fighter and a sorceress thers a secret caracter you can unlock but i wont spoil it for you the game is set in the dnd world the archer is good at attacking enemies from afar the dawrf is good in meele and the sorceress is good with magic the game also has co op mode wich is fun the game has good replay value and every gamecube owner shoud have this...
Summary: I bought this game, because it is a ton of fun, my kids enjoyed the first disk - now scratched to oblivion, that we had to get another one. Hours of entertainment, though younger kids may not like the zombies, skeletons and other undead, or the scary music and blood involved in some of the animation/art. I'd recommend the game for adventure/fantasy theme enthusiasts 10 years and up.
Summary: I never played this on any console and was looking for a Diablo style game for the Wii. I was finally able to play this game on the Wii, but I had to purchase classic controllers first and a GameCube memory card. This was easy for me as we have a really good used game store in town where I was able to get that stuff. The game overall is a blast, I play it with my 9 year old son and my 11 year old daughter.
Summary: Easily one of the best Gamecube games. Best played with two people. Loads of fun, great replay value. You may want to increase the brightness settings on your television, as this game can be frustratingly dark at times. Easily the best $15 I ever spent on the Wii.
