Summary: Baldurs Gate is one of the all time greats for d&d gamers. BG fallows the d&d rules closely, i just wish they would come out with more of these. The idea of multi player with a single person control and real time action. Great game and gaming system of all time.
Summary: Purchased with slim hopes of actually running on my windows 7 system, but for the price what would I lose? The games installed and worked perfectly - I forgot how fun this game was and will spend many unproductive hours enjoying this game. I Would Recommend this game to anyone..
Summary: I will praise the Baldur's Gate series as both a classic and (for its time) a revolution in solid video game roleplaying. This is my second purchase of the game, but the first purchase of this boxed set. The first purchase -- my original -- still works and installs like a charm. That said, the issues I have with this box-set are less with the game and more with the way Interplay has made the game oh, so much more difficult to access and install than need be.
Summary: This is a great set and comes with four discs in a dvd container. The case do not even hold all the discs so I would suggest moving them to a cd book after you open them. Each disc has one game on it. I installed them on my computer with Window 7 and they all work just fine. BG2 is probably my favorite game ever and this is a must get set for any Baldur's Gate fan.
Summary: I've spent two days trying to get this to use the multi-player option. I installed it on an old XT laptop and still can't get it to work. Using a patch I'm able to play in single-player mode on my Win-7, laptop. I already know about the new version that can be played online. Look at it. It's not the same game. I don't want "new and improved." I've been looking for older computers, like an XT (Not XP) on the internet so I can install DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11.
