Summary: The fourth installment of Princess Sophia's story is everything the other reviewers have described. I will continue to play the series, partially due to sentimental reasons and because I would like to see a family reunion.
Summary: A nice game in the series - maybe not quite as well done as some of the previous ones but plenty to keep you entertained. I did find the bonus adventure a bit pointless and it didn't feel as worth a play. Nice and bright game - heavy on the mini games with only a few HOG.
Summary: I loved the other Awakenings so foolishly I just bought this one without a demo. What a mistake! There are so many min games/puzzles one right after another and most are just boring. They also make the story hard to follow because of the constant interruptions.
Summary: This is a sweet game but after an hour's play, I found it easy not to buy the full version. The variation in HO play was most welcome -- sometimes you fulfill a list, sometimes find shapes, etc. -- but the puzzles were very poorly explained and became frustrating.
Summary: Yay! Another game from my favorite pretty princess saga! This game took a sharp mind to get through. None of the mini games and HO scenes were run-of-the-mill. The HO scenes were very interactive and more like puzzles. The mini games were of a veritable cornucopia of creative variety.
Summary: I haven't even been able to finish this game - it's soooooo intense I go to shoot um up Venice for a break - I'm 100% with Krystal850 on this game: it's a bit top heavy on mini-games after mini-game, but it does have so many other elements that bring up the bar.
Summary: The graphics in this game are gorgeous (like all of them) and the music downright meditative. However I soon realized I was going to have to turn the music down and put on my thinking cap to make any headway in this game. I loved all the puzzles.
Summary: I have played and enjoyed all the Awakening games prior to this one but, sorry to say, didn't think this measured up. Lag in loading new scenes seemed particularly long and what was charming and whimsical earlier has become clumsy and boring.
Summary: I am a HUGE fan of the Awakening series. I have loved every one of the previous games (my absolute fave being Moonfell Wood), this one however, I was less than thrilled with. And by that, I mean I was about 97% thrilled, and 3% annoyed. First off I think the graphics (as always) were stunning.
Summary: The Awakening series has always provided a soothing alternative to the darker games more common these days, full of soft music and colours, loveable characters and a pure fairytale princess story. Skyward Castle is true to the previous games and maybe the best of them all.
