Summary: Top down graphics, no camera zoom, who cares. this is a fun game to play. quest thruout the caverns of the area. fight monsters, run questing errands. learn about Avernum. this game seems dated, but it is fun all the same. quick graphics, quick load screens, what few there are. worth the money paid.
Summary: the gameplay is classically satisfying and the quests are fun. if you are a fan of old-school (and turn-based) rpg's then pick this one up, you'll like it. think of it as a "turn-based alundra" and you got it.
Summary: This game was an exciting game to play with a deep storyline and that old school RPG feel one craves after a long time. Summary: I own this game for ipad, and play it on my linux desktop using wine. I am at a loss as to how it can even be compared to a game on the VIC-20 platform, as I owned a slew of older computers and have played many games on each of them over the decades. Sure, the graphics are 'subtle' but the combat strategy is amazing. The battles would make any chess player drool with anticipation. It is like taking a revisit to games like ultima, bloodstone, or magic candle.
