Summary: i dont know what is really bothering me about this game. I normally like this kind of game when i want something easy, quick, not requiring "thinking". This game meet these criteria. Yes, FAIRWAY SOLITAIRE [one of my favorite card game along with TRI PEAK Solitaire] clone. This doesnt require timing which is nice. Nice graphic. One feature this game give is WILD CARD, including K Q and J that is not present in FAIRWAY. In playing 10 "hands".
Summary: This is one of my favorite solitaires. It has beautiful art, nice sound effects and fun levels. Levels start easy, but get more and more challenging while you play... and it's great, because you can get upgrades that make playing easier and you master your skills at the same time. The game is similar to Faerie Solitaire or Fairway Solitaire. If you liked those two you definitely should try out Avalon Legends Solitaire.
Summary: This game would be a lot more challening and a lot more fun if each level had a goal in addition to the location. As it is now, once you reach the location goal, should you choose to, you can just skip trough the deck without bothering to play to get to the next location. Of course, the graphics and gameplay is enough to make you wanna keep playing, but I still wish each level had a seperate goal in addition to the location goal.
Summary: As far as solitaire games go, this is a winner! Fairway solitaire is one of my favorites, and while this is not as good, its very well done, enchanting and a good game overall. I don't like the fact that it doesn't let you skip the interactive help, nor does it offer different levels of play. Its pretty easy to beat. But it is one of those games that promises long hours of fun. I really liked the demo and may buy this one.
Summary: I just downloaded the new game, Avalon Legends Solitaire, and before I knew it, the free, 60 minute trial had finished! What a lovely game! The graphics are bright and colourful and the background music is non-invasive and rather calming. The game-play is smooth, with a choice of cursor, sound and music volume settings, and wide screen resolution. The game of ascending and descending from Ace to King is employed here, one of my favourite types of Solitaire games.
Summary: This is a good game and it is a retread on Fairway Solitaire with the dungeon and dragons/ fairytale theme that is catching on with so many games coming out. Why folks want to glorify this period is beyond me when folks were scared to take a bath (death of a cold thing-lol) but gaming keeps it all clean just like this game.
Summary: Better than: Gunslinger Solitaire, Soccer Cup Solitaire (which is actually not Solitaire but a Match 2 game). Not as fun as: Fairway Solitaire, Fashion Solitaire. I can't figure out WHY this isn't as fun as Fairway Solitaire; it mimics it in every respect. It even has it's own version of the water & sand traps, golf clubs, & the store. It doesn;t have the Aussie voice actors, but it does have much nicer graphics.
