The size of maps and the scope of the missions feels right on; the player has plenty of room to maneuver without (sorry, IL-2) endless climbs or long slogs from waypoint to waypoint. The two historical campaigns (technically four – two at the beginning and two at the end of the Pacific war) are fun, if a little brief and arranged in a confusing, dynamic system where successful missions result in experience, medals and new planes, and failed missions means not receiving... The game is not going to make inroads in terms of gameplay, or graphics, or sound. It is an arcade-style action game that moves at a strong pace and is enjoyable for its action. Attack on Pearl Harbor has its moments, but it will have trouble holding your interest all the way through the campaigns. If the mission design was more imaginative and the missions more varied it would be easier to look past the game's faults in recommending it. As it stands, though, it's best left to those with a strong interest in this type of game. Read more

Good play control and graphics. The flight simulator physics are a bit unreal to add better control of your plane. I bought Combat Wings: Battle of the Pacific at the same time and overall prefer this Pearl Harbor game out of the two. Read more
