Summary: The story is actually pretty good, but low production value seems to get into the way. Skipped animations, sometimes you feel like whole cutscenes are missing, only showing the most needed stuff. The background images are kind of good, too.
Summary: Decent PC game, especially for $5! If you throw out a little common sense, it won't be as frustrating as I thought it was to complete. I was still determined to finish it for the sake of completing it and did so in a couple of nights. Needless to say, I haven't touched it again since.
Summary: Entertaining game, excellent graphics, puzzles challenging but not overly difficult.Minor irritation is the going backwards and forwards to complete tasks but overall a most enjoyable game.Would recommend it providing you are not looking for brain crunching puzzles.
Summary: The positives: Hunt for the Puppeteer has great graphics, reasonable voice acting and works well on older PCs. With one exception, the puzzles and tasks are logical and not too hard to figure out.
Summary: I tend to buy my games through reading suppliers reviews and also reading through walkthrough pages. I am also influenced by the game providers, e.g The Adventure Company usually sells good games. Hunt for the Puppeteer moves along quite nicely and is a well balanced story plus puzzles
Summary: Being weaned on the excellent Lara Croft Tomb Raider series, this game, while quite pretty, falls well short of decent gameplay standards. It is very linear and pedantic. You end up going back and forward between locations to collect improbable items and combine them to make even more improbable...
Summary: I wanted to add my opinion as I think this is a very good game. I had played the first one and enjoyed it and didn't buy this one as the reviews put me off. As there didn't seem to be anything else I fancied at the time and the price was good I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm pleased I did.
