Arizona Rose and the Pirates' Riddles
6 July 2012
Summary: Riddle me this...how many number puzzles does it take for a game to stop being fun?
Pros: Mosaic puzzles make for an entertaining guessing game as you see what picture takes shape. Each feels like a miniature archeological dig, at first...unearthing something from nothing. Getting the hang of each puzzle is satisfying for fans of logical thinking.
Cons: The game skimps completely on even the kitschy, barebones story it outlines. There is no attempt to tie your hidden object hunts to any broader purpose. Repetition doesn't even begin to describe the feeling that sets in. Unexploited opportunity for light, varied break from hidden object fare.
