Worth buying if you're willing to make friends and learn

Pros: No other game plays like it, the combat is awesome when the servers work correctly. Customization is sick, and it's one of the only fun shooters that isn't remotely pay-to-win.
Cons: Game isn't fun soloing, you practically need a clan to do well. Hit registration can be dodgy at times and be a real pain for many players depending on the server. Also, since the game has a lot of MMO elements, there's a lot to learn about the game that extend past normal shooter game logic.
Pros: Played this game for well over a year, and it's got it's ups and downs just like most games. So far the fun comes from customization, trick out anything including your car, outfit and weapons provided you have the unlocks. Upload your own music tracks and blare them while you run over your enemies or just drive around town!.
Cons: The game does have a few notable downfalls, none of which are gamebreaking and mostly serve as laughable footnotes.
Summary: This is probably the most worthwhile purchase you can make in this free to play game (PS choose the shotgun or sniper rifle when you redeem the code). The game itself isn't great, it's poorly optimized and the servers can be terrible. But gameplay is unique and customization is amazing, so give the game a try first before you buy anything from it.
Summary: It has a steep learning curve, but once you figure out strategies and which weapons to use in situations, it's a lot of fun. If you get your friends into it and have a coordinated group it can be a lot of fun as well. The vehicle controls are a bit sluggish, some days more than others. Recently the game has had an influx of new players, so now is a good time to start with other people.

Summary: Note: I will be using APB and MMO jargon. Before you activate this, if the promo where you get the bonus primary weapon is still going on, do the 99 G1 point rentals of the various weapons you can get. I'm not totally dissatisfied with the Whisper I got, but I still tend to use my JG for short range. I am glad I didn't pick up the Scout, as I prefer the higher damage of a real sniper rifle, the Colby shotgun would have been preferable.
Summary: been playing APB since RTW launched in so almost 2 years now... APB is a really fun game especially if you like the part of GTA where you go off and do your own thing, blowing up cars, robbing stores are fun and missions for structured PVP... overall a great game to play, still needs work but G1 are doing good so far.
Summary: Do not listen to the 1 star review, the original apb servers are down, but this is apb reloaded it was just released last year. I agree with the 2 star review though, things you gain after a short time are just as good as buying this, but if you are really into this game you can save your money, or wait till its on sale and buy it.
