Summary: This is a good game to play when it’s working. It crashed 3/4 of the way through the campaign. I tried to reinstall it several time but game just won’t launch again. I gave up on this and moved on.
Scraping barnacles would have been more productive -- and I don't even have a boat.

Summary: Utterly useless. I have never had more trouble with a game. It took hours to upload, then I found out that it cannot be played without an internet connection. I uploaded it on my parents' computer, but it behaved as if it was running when it wasn't. The Ubisoft forums were of no help. I've never had any of these problems with any of the other Anno games.
Summary: Uplay is awful, but getting this game and all the expansion packs for under $15 is worth the headache. The anno series has a big learning curve. Fans of the series will enjoy the new factions, underwater layouts, and multiplayer. I have enjoyed many a game. Its addicting.. in a good way.
Summary: "Anno 2070" was my first game of the Anno series. Because of it, I went back and played 1404 and 1701 too, and enjoyed them greatly as well. 2070 is a game for our times, beautifully capturing the industry-vs-environment ideological conflict through its Eco and Tycoon factions. More importantly, it is unbelievably addictive, taking "just one more quest" to new levels.
