Summary: I have all the Anno games and have enjoyed them all. Anno 1404 is just, if not more, challenging than the others. If you like building, feeding, fighting and all the things that make up using the "little gray cells" than this is a game you should try.
Summary: So I'll admit that I have not reached a point in this game that I would call "I beat it" but this game has several different things that make me really enjoy just casually playing it for hours on end. I'm a sucker for town building, resource gathering/management games and this one has so many different features in it that I can sit down and play it for quite a while without getting tired of it. Recommend it if you have been a fan of the "Settlers" series.

Summary: thank you Europe for box editions especially box gold editions this game a strategic shipping and city building game has greatly advanced from the last graphics engine and textures in the previous game without changing the gameplay very much so if you enjoy the series this gold addition is the one to get
Summary: One of the most fun and relaxing RTS/Citybuilding games out there. The combat system isn't that great, but the game makes up for it in many different ways. There's a good trade system, beautiful graphics and many different challenges for the player.
Summary: This is a fun, very time-consuming game in it's low pace. I picked this up because I love the older Settler's games and they're both by Blue Byte. The concept of the game is very familiar, albeit less complicated and more centered on city building than war. You have to play the original .exe instead of the gold edition to get to the tutorial too, and it has a bit of a learning curve.
