Summary: For a recent game this one has all the look and feel of something that came out in the Windows 98 era. The 16 rating is ludicrous as the gameplay environment would seem to be aimed at 7-10 year olds, not grown ups. But this is the disparity that occurs when you have childish games that involve killing and death. Very little happens beyond leading a group of fighters around the play field killing enemies and acquiring new buildings.
Excerpt: Ancient Wars: Sparta is a RTS (Real-Time Strategy) released in 2007. It is a PC game based loosely on a war in 480 BC, where the people of Sparta hold off against the Persian invasion. One of the main characters is Leonidas 17th king of the Agiad line. The game has a very unique style, the player has the ability to research and create weapons to equip his army with individually picking from a spear to a sword or bow plus manny more.
Pros: Unit Customisation, Storyline, multiplayer, fun .
Excerpt: This game has a very gripping storyline to it. The game includes 3 nations of which you can play to conquer the world. In the game ou are also able to command huge armies with a variety of different units. There are 27 missions of which you are to make you way through, each mission in great 3D graphics on which sheds light on the terrain and units.
Conclusion: I love this game well made the story line is not to bad to suit, well worth getting if your computer can handle it, alot of ram reli helps the game play, alot of amazin concepts such as collecting fallen soliders weapons and such to suit this all adds to the fun.
Conclusion: i don't actually know how good the gameplay is but i know the requirements are ridiculous i have a reasonable PC, 1024 ram, i the game is still jerky on the lowest graphic detail, its says on the back recommended 2048 mb ram, so unless you don't have a high spec PC avoid buying the game
Conclusion: If you liked Age of Mythology you'll just love Ancient Wars Sparta! It offers the most beautiful graphics I've ever seen, with many detailed animations in the battles, where you can even see a full animation when a siege weapon is being loaded or charged by your men! It has just everything I want in a strategy game: many equally balanced cool units, huge walls, nice effects in battle, exciting multiplayer part with huge fights for the gold mines, and finally: a great...
