  • Summary: Played just over 10 hours before the game got stale. Pros: -Good humor -Setting/immersion Cons: -Combat is tedious -No leveling skills (game automatically allocates points which kills the role-playing factor and adds to the tediousness of combat) -No dialogue trees (only one or two places in the entire game where you can make an actual decision) -Story is not as good as most Played just over 10 hours before the game got stale.

  • Summary: Very unique and often forgotten RPG gem. Interesting characters, good story, lots of humor, JRPG style battle system, it's not flawless, but it's definitely a memorable RPG experience worth playing through.

homeworld and starseige tribes are better games ...

  • Summary: the only advantage to purchasing the cd set is that it comes with a manual / playbook. but you will get the "anox.exe encountered a problem and needs to close" error, so you will have to download the digital version from gog. i am playing the digital version, and find it ok. you walk around talking to people, and if you like games like that, ... . i prefer strategy games like starcraft and warcraft. homeworld is good also.

  • Summary: This is basically a JRPG (with all pros and cons) made by a western company. It's shallow at times, the combat is not very fun, the story isn't that interesting, but the game just have some charm and soul put in it and it keeps you playing. One thing that should be mentioned - the game's sense of humor, it's really good.

  • Summary: Seen its up on Steam...A game i've been gagging to get again. Game play wise one of the most intelligent and brilliant RPG's i've played. Was hampered by tons of bugs that ruined original game. But steam seems to fix its stuff to work on Steam so im hoping its all nicely patched to atleast the fan patch standard. cant recommend enough. Awesome game if a bit dated graphic wise. But Seen its up on Steam...A game i've been gagging to get again.

This game will kill you...WITH DEATH!!!

11 December 2011
  • Summary: Originally released in 2001, Anachronox was the third and final of the flagship launch titles produced by Ion Storm, following on from the appalling Daikatana and the sublime Deus Ex. A computer RPG, the game used the Quake II engine (then already dated due to the release of Quake III) and was critically lauded upon release.

  • Summary: Wow, this game is incredible! I've just played it recently, ten years after it's original release date, and it is one of the best games I've ever played. If you love story driven, epic in scope, RPG's with a variety of fascinating environments to explore, you'll love this game. And the humor, it's truly laugh out loud-able in more than a few occasions. Very well written and creative.

  • Summary: Great Game with the bad-ass sly Boot's and geting to know how he live's and his way of life. on a bad point there is one part in the game were you have to follow coldwolf and when you get to the tour part in the city he just he gone when you load after him, What cause's this is a dual Core or Quad Core......witch the game is not made for so you need to get a save that is after Coldwolf loads in the tour part with you following him. On a Side Note is is a fun game.

Extremely underrated game!

  • Summary: This is a very unique game with hilarious dialogue, memorable characters, and just a fun time overall. The combat system is standard RPG turn-based fare, but what makes this really worth it are the story and characters. You'll never quite find another group like the one that gets put together here, and there are a lot of laughts to be found here. Give this game a shot - it's going to play on almost any modern-day computer and it'll be well-worth the time.
