Summary: Look, I love this game. But if you have a MAC and tried the demo, do not buy this CD unless you have a PC with the minimum requirements. I figured that this was an updated CD so it would be PC/MAC compatible. If you have a mac and you want this game, GO TO THE APP STORE! I still like this game, because I have a required PC. Just make sure you go to the actual game's website and check out the system requirements.
Summary: I as unable to use this product because when I looked over the specs I was admittedly not thorough enough. There is issues with certain video cards, had I read reviews I would have known about this. I have never had a problem with any game running on my computer. I am very upset about this because the game itself has amazing reviews. HOWEVER!! As far as the seller goes.
Summary: I guess I am not a fanboy. I really don't see much of a difference between this game and the entry's in the Nancy Drew series except that it is difficult to see in this one and there are elements that are fairly distasteful. You solve puzzles of various sorts, in low light, in order to get to the end. It is never clear what the backstory is in spite of a spate of notes and voice overs. The game has a certain antique quality. It reminded me of Zork a bit.
Great game, but double-check your hardware before you buy it

Summary: I don't have much to add to the praise people have for this game, but I wish I'd paid a little closer attention to those who mentioned having hardware problems. Amnesia absolutely will not work with an Intel video card. Unfortunately, that's what's in my laptop. My desktop has a different model of card and can run the game easily, but it's a shame the developers couldn't set the game up to operate with Intel. I was looking forward to playing on the laptop.
Summary: I started playing this game as soon as I downloaded it and it seems like it could be fun. However, I'm stuck in a section and haven't bothered to restart the game, nor have I been back to play some more. It really has potential, I just have to keep playing.
Summary: I downloaded this game only to find that I couldn't get the game to launch. After troubleshooting with no success I clicked on the order details for the download, then on a button that says something like "problems with this order." That took me to a page which allowed me to send an e-mail directly to support. I stated my problem and requested a refund. Within an hour Amazon support had e-mailed me back with a refund confirmation.
Summary: Got this game and it installed good with windows 7. This game is not for everyone. It's first person but not shooter. The game is scary by giving you a feeling that something is going to happen by way of scenery and music. There's lots of exploring and reading of materials to find out what to do next. There's alot of reading so if you don't like reading then this game is not for you. This game reminds me of Silent Hill - Shattered memories you have no weapons.
Summary: When I pulled the case from the game art sleeve, what I found was a very cheap, generic, black DVD case. The game had no manual inside, only a square of paper with Amnesia graphics and they activation code on it. I feel like I got some bootlegged copy. If anyone else has had this experience or knows that this is normal, let me know.
Summary: I'll be fair. Even though I personally didn't like it, I am giving it 3 stars because it's not a bad game, just not my thing. I played demo's of this and just was unimpressed. A demo should hook a consumer to buy a game. But I'm still giving it 3 stars because there are OTHER people who will probably love this and it's not a bad game, just not that good. I love the horror genre but this was just not much fun for me.
