Summary: The game is amazing by all means. What other game can have 16,000 people charging across battle fields . The other day i led 8000 peasnts to their demise vs. only 500 british light infantry in a small town, i led 600 british soldiers into lexington and concord and we did not lose a single man.
greatest battles of all time, really repetitive music though

Summary: if you hate repetitive music, don't buy this game, or any of the American Conquest games, its not worth it. Also, if you aren't patient, I also do not recommend this to you. the whole key to this game is turtling: keeping defenses up and building massive forces, moving them closer to the enemy base, then (best part)blowing them straight to hell (or heaven).
Summary: I didn't know what to expect, so the first thing that surprised me were the absolutely lush graphics. RTS games have always been a bit on the staid side when it comes to terrain graphics - plenty of detail but something always seems to be missing. Not so with AC, the ground detail is superb, rivers flow beautifully and trees and bushes are particularly lifelike. Although everything is 2D sprites, the units are fantastic and there is a real sense of a 3D element.
Summary: This is a very good solid strategy game, and I am impressed. This game reminds me of Stronghold Crusader. These two games are the best strategy games on the market today, trust me. You don't have to play these games online to enjoy them. The realism in the game is amazing, along with the graphics, and you don't need an Area 51 computer for the game to run smooth, that in itself is a great triumph, for the makers of this game, and I salute you.
Summary: 16000, is all i gotta say. That is how many people you can reieve. That Means That the population is not 200 0r 250. This game is based on the historical events not non existing battles. Want to ambush someone? If you do put your men on hold fire. When ready select all men and fire. If not all the resistance fall they will either reload or use their baynette.
Summary: I just downloaded the DEMO of this game today, and the demo already had me droolingto buy the game! Gathering resources and building armies is EASY! The pop cap is one of my favorite features, up to 16000!!! Unlike games like EE which only goes up to 800 maximum. Units work together and everything, and i'm only talking about the demo alone, And I can't wait to try the full version!!!
Summary: This the best RTS game I've ever played. That's saying a lot, because I've played many games. One thing, the best thing about this game is that you can get 16000 Units at a time. NOT the puny armies you get with Age of Empires. Right, you think that having 16000 units on the screen at one time requires a supercomputer. Not so, I share a computer with the rest of my family, and it still runs fine. The gameply and effects are so addictive.
Summary: The British Redcoats wait nervously, but they are confidant-they have fought yokels like these before. As the enemy advances to but a few yards distance, the commander gives the order to fire. The line unleashes its volley, tearing through the American ranks. Broken and dispirited, the Americans break ranks and flee. The Redcoats don't wait to reload and charge with their bayonets, completing the slaughter. This is what makes American Conquest such a great game.
Summary: This is likely the hardest game that I have ever played! The graphics are amazing. Especiall each of the different units which are interacting at the same time. The fact that you can have more units under your control than any other game out there sets American Conquest apart from the rest. This is not one to be missed!
Summary: This game is the best RTS I have ever played. 1.The graphics are excellent. 2.The music is excellent in quality, but there are only 3 or so tracks. But the game has good sound effects. 3.Contrary to what some others have said, there is a zoom view. 4.Realism and historical accuracy are the best part of this game. 5.Gameplay is very well balanced, which each unit have its strengths and weaknesses. 6.
