Difficult to Learn

Cart, Amazon
25 January 2009
  • Summary: This game is pretty tough. Apparently there are no instructions... you get the instructions while playing the game (in bits and pieces). It took me a while to figure out how to move my characters but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I still have it on the easiest difficulty level.

Good Job

Gerardo Arredondo, Amazon
16 July 2008
  • Summary: I really got into this game. I wish they create a more realistic game that allows you to see the entire map and location of your troops using those metal troop toys. Include recon soldiers, mail from different battles, receive reports from the battles to allow you to make real war decisions.

Urban combat at its best

Ray Evans, Amazon
2 July 2003
  • Summary: This is a very good RTS game that has an entirely different flavor than its predecessors, Cossacks - European Wars and The Art of War. No longer can I stand back and simply destroy an AI enemy with cannons and mortars. I have to go in and do the building by building combat.

Strategy Plus

G. Bouder "Justlikegoodfilms", Amazon
1 June 2003
  • Summary: If your not good at strategy, you will be by the time you master this game. It will teach you how to use many flanking maneuvers. Unlike many games where forest are taboo and you must go around them, here you can go through them as a real army could. Well worth its price.

Good - needs some improvements

Alliance, Amazon
29 July 2003
  • Summary: As an owner of the previous cossacks games i found AC a great game, it has everything cossacks has and more. The game is very realistic and quite true to life in that period. The things I have always dreamed about in those kind of games though are taking prisoners and having the cowards that run...
