Summary: This games is certainly challenging and involves some real strategy. It has nice graphics and good extra features. I would think that most people would enjoy the game. I would highly recommend it to any Civil War game buff or those who like military strategy games that are played out in real time with real historic scenarios.
Summary: American Civil War: Gettysburg is much more fun than reviewers typically give it. Compared to other video games, Gettysburg is so far the most realistic in terms of graphics and game play. You can hear the bullets whiz by when you zoom into the battlefield, guns crackling, and men screaming as they are shot or in a fight hand to hand. Morale is negatively affected by casualties taken and positive by making more of the enemy rout (among other things).
