Summary: The game is fun is the way that your actions change the course of the game. However, the graphics are a major turn-off. They are TERRIBLE! Also, the missions are too easy and the AI is bad. I could go entire missions without getting hit once. Still, it is a fun game for $5, but I would not pay a cent more.
Summary: I really looked forward to this game, and I liked it, even loved it, and played it till completion. (a feat this time and day) It had everything to like, stealth, action, a nice story, choices that changed the story. Still I give it only 3 stars. Why? Because this game had the potential to be so much more than it became. It was not polished enough, with too many bugs running around and infesting anything it touched.
Summary: **I just finished the game, so I'm editing my review. The biggest change is dropping the review by 2 stars for the overall experience, down three stars for "fun" factor, although I can't seem to change that rating... I held off getting this game for a while because of all the terrible reviews I read. I'm glad I waited, but I'm much more glad I decided to ignore the reviews and get the game anyway.
Summary: I really enjoyed playing Alpha Protocal. It's a fun RPG. The only reason I didn't give it higher marks is because it was winnable in a very short time. I played it off and on for about a week, I would guess I had won it within about 15 hours. I would for sure recommend playing it, but I definitely don't think it's worth $50 bucks!
First Impression are hard to shake... Mine? *yawn*

Summary: I'll be honest, I didn't play that much, but I have so many titles waiting to be played, and not enough time for them all, I don't usually give a game much time to grab my interest. This one failed to do so. What I hoped was going to be an exciting and fresh take on the single character RPG experience really seemed to be content with following in Mass Effect 2's footsteps, simply replacing the science fiction for "reality" if you will.
Conclusion: This game could have been a real classic. It has most of the right ingredients, however it lacks some finer touches that has the potential to frustrate and bewilder the user. Should start with the positives. Real immersive gameplay including the conversations and choices to be made, they make the gamer really feel in control even more so than in other RPGs such as mass effect 2.
Summary: This game could have been a really good game if it wasn't for..... the
hacking the computer part it was just plain hard and boring, not to mention hard
on the eyes(at least my eyes) Then there is the controls, it was hard enough to
make a person turn with the right analog stick on the PS 2 while you move them
with the opposite stick but try turning a person with a mouse in your hand.
Summary: I have personally really enjoyed this game. The story is pretty decent and
the choices you make throughout the game have real impact on the way characters
react to you. Researching your targets before missions and uncovering extra
objectives and bonus information during missions is a lot of fun and actually
impacts on the conversations you have.
The graphics are decent when played at higher resolutions, although some
textures are ugly.
"The story becomes immersive, despite cliche and game mechanics."

Summary: I won't lie, the game had some technical issues and has some clumsy game
mechanics, but once I got used to the narrative structure and the character
gets some decent skills it was sort of fun. There are multiple endings and some of them are amusingly nihilistic. It
didn't take me too long to finish the game. To get the game going I had to copy Alpha Protocol/ Game Saves and
Checkpoints files into MY Documents and copy dat files into the checkpoints.
