User Review

MarkWesthoff, Metacritic
5 January 2006
  • Summary: I spent a lot of hours playing with the game....trying to figure out how to keep it from crashing all the time. It might have been fun if the game was actually functional....even with the patches the game is not functional and should have never been released.

Not your classic Centipede

Susan B, Amazon
8 June 2004
  • Summary: When I bought this game, I thought I was getting the classic arcade version of Centipede that I always enjoyed playing. But this is a tricked-out 3D version that shares only the name with the original Centipede. I loaded it on my computer, played for about 15 minutes, then never went back to it.

Brilliant Concept but Awful Game!

Zen Nataraj, Amazon
24 May 2004
  • Summary: . Superpower should be avoided - do not buy it. Despite its quite fascinating concept of geo-political and macro-economic strategy where you lead a nation, Superpower however delivers a quite frustrating and unrealistic game in all of its strategic and tactical aspects.

Great Concept / Terrible Execution

Alain Moreau "cineaste3765", Amazon
25 May 2003
  • Summary: SuperPower is a real-time strategy game that has a great concept. You are not the "king of the world", but you function as a government of a chosen country. You are supposed to be able to control five elements: Demography (welfare of your people), Economy (domestic and trade), Secret Service...

Hobbled by bugs

"ifkhba", Amazon
24 May 2003
  • Summary: I don't typically write reviews for the products I buy, but, motivated by both a sense of outrage and a desire to help fellow gamers, I feel compelled to write on this game. I bought Superpower because the concept was tantalizing: international affairs, globe-spanning combat, trade, diplomacy, and...

Spiel nach Film :-(

D. Mezger, Amazon
17 February 2011
