Summary: Horrible game that literally leaves you floundering in the dark unable to see in front of you. Possibly the designers forgot that having a dark look to the game does not mean total darkness. I deleted the game from my computer and took it to gamestop so that some other poor fellow can flounder around in the dark.

Summary: A disaster of a game created by Gearbox Software, who infamously placed the blame on third-party developers who were tasked to finish their lazy work, and then let SEGA take the blame. Oh look, a good developer, Creative Assembly developed Alien: Isolation and it turned out to be an excellent video game. Who would have thought? Maybe, just, maybe! Gearbox is not such a good developer, and they are especially not a good business company.
WARNING - ACM is an unfinished, buggy, unpolished, confusing, and boring generic run and gun shooter.

Summary: I was really excited for this game, especially after watching a few of the videos that I will post in the comment section (Amazon doesn't allow linking to other sites in their reviews). I went so far as to pre-order the game on Steam and now wish I could get a refund. The ONLY good thing about this game is that the whole thing can be beaten in under 5 hours (less if not for the bugs).

Summary: Can't tell if the game is good or not since it will take nearly 1 DAY to download it from "Steam". Steam has virtually no tech support and what little is there is riddled with problems. I am on a high speed modem so I could download the entire Library of Congress in less time than this thing. I suggest you steer clear of anything that requires you to use STEAM.
Summary: Seriously, the "version" that I had of this better-left-cancelled game, there was no way I could force myself to finish it. I'm not even sure what mission I was on last, but enough was enough. The bugs, the seriously lack luster put together story, the horrendous AI, the random "let's turn this into Call of Duty!" mentality, and the terrible, TERRIBLE attempt to refine the graphics are only to name a few.
Possibly the worst release from a major developer in the last 10 years

Summary: I bought this for a pittance, since I LOVE the Aliens universe. I knew, going in, that it was not well reviewed - but figured I'd give it a shot. It lives up to its infamy, for sure! Gameplay: really bad. The pulse rifle feels like a BB gun and barely does damage, so I used the shotgun mostly. Because a shotgun obviously does less damage than armor piercing high-velocity rounds.
Summary: Another that doesn't tell you prior to purchase (fault SEGA and amazon) that REQUIRES STEAM internet account to even install. CANNOT opt out of their internet system and just use locally, as I wanted. So, again, will be discarding. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING that requires STEAM - IT IS A SCAM.
