weak combat but good story. Basically stephen king the game.

Summary: The game is basically a stephen king movie. The combat is pretty dull but the storyline and puzzles are pretty good. The flashlight concept in battle is simple and could be built upon but works.
Summary: The story and atmosphere started out pretty good, then I realize that it's impossible or very difficult to continue because of the gameplay. The only way to kill the enemy is by shining a flashlight and shooting them, both method requires battery and ammo which is very scares in the game.
Summary: I'll keep this review short. Alan Wake is one of the best and most horrific entertainment experiences of the past decade. It progresses like an action packed AAA Steven King miniseries or epic movie series, all the while being an interactive, challenging, and engrossing experience.
Summary: I actually really liked the plot-line of this game. It was innovative and different. This game was scary and was a showcase for shadows and lighting. I enjoyed that. I don't know what else to say except this game is really standout. That's all.
