NCsoft; Game Killer

A.Crichton, Amazon
5 October 2012
  • Summary: NCsoft has proven itself yet again as an MMO killing machine, with the recent announcement of the closure of the popular City of Heroes franchise, they seek to sell as many games as possible and run the game for a short while before ultimately closing the servers as they have done many times in the past. They also have no interest to remain active in the Western market so any money received from us will be taken with little intent to allow us to get what we've paid for.

bland

31 August 2012
  • Summary: I have had oatmeal more entertaining, and interesting than this game. The mechanics are stale, the story trite, and the world rediculous.

Aion went free 2 play

Michita, Amazon
29 April 2012
  • Summary: Aion North America Servers - Europe is totally different Aion NA Company is fun is not pay to win, is time consuming. To get Pvp gears is really hard you need to really commit to the game (the currency is abyss points), is hard to gain money in game and the things/gears are expensive (economy). Other players are (community) is medium on niceness i have seen worst and i have seen better (them before it went free 2 play).

Soon "FREE TO PLAY" Judge it for yourself !!!

thealphadale, Amazon
15 March 2012
  • Summary: I read mixed reviews on this game. I decided to try it for myself and it turned out to be one of the best mmo's I have played to date! To start, the creation engine is probably "the best" of all mmo's out there. You could spend hours just making a toon to your liking. The community has been very helpful and active on server Z "north america". The content, quest line and pvp/pve are super fun and fairly ballanced.

This Game Rocks!

Rebecca L. Juro "Contributor - The Bilerico P..., Amazon
4 March 2012
  • Summary: No, seriously! I haven't had this much fun with an MMO in a long time. At the price you can get this on Amazon right now it's well worth it, just the game time and free bonus pet make it worthwhile deal. Add to that the fact that Aion will be going free to play this spring and there are nice perks for paid players such as a cool set of armor, it's an even bigger deal.

The game for me

Alethia23, Amazon
19 January 2012
  • Summary: Aion: Assault on Balaurea I originally bought this item from amazon for my boyfriend as a gift. Great and amazing price as how the game should be sold at. I bought the digital version from the NCSoft website during Black Friday for $4.99 and I have been playing this game for several months already. This is a great and amazing game. From gameplay, features and graphics!

Great graphics, average gameplay

Patrick, Amazon
19 September 2011
  • Summary: I think some of the negative reviews here were expecting a bit too much. Yes, there are aspects of Aion that are questionable. The fact that crafting and manastone socketing has such a high chance of failure seems pointless. It's frustrating, but then again, this game isn't that hard anyway (and manastones don't make a big difference), so that doesn't break it completely for me. And, yes, there is grinding.
