Summary: Disclaimer: I was using the very fine Gentlemen of Fortune mod when playing Age of Pirates 2. That may have affected my experience and issues I had with this game. This game... It's pretty amazing all things considered. The scope and options are huge, the ships range from nothing more than fishing boats to behemoths that leave you wondering just how the hell it keeps floating, much less move.
Summary: This game all in all is worth a mere 3 at best for all the design flaws and clunky mechanics. There is much complication in every single menu, on every tab and each screen screen. Very little information is ever given to the player in terms of game functionality. Control of the character on land is dreadful and the game would have been better off without the on-land freeroam all together.
Summary: LOVE THIS GAME IF YOU LIKE PIRATES YOUR WILL LOVE IT GREAT GRAPHICS AND EVERYTHING! I WAS RUNNING IT ON A INTEL PENTIUM SO IF YOU HAVE A HIGHER GRADE COMPUTER PROCESSOR THEN IT WILL RUN AMAZING THE SHIPPING WAS REALLY FAST TO I GOT IT THE NEXT DAY TO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT
Summary: If you are fan of games with an RPG element and enjoy the Golden Age of Piracy, this is a game that you will thoroughly remember for years to come. However, I have to give warning for those that have not played the previous titles from Akella including Sea Dogs and Age of Pirates. This game is much deeper that Sid Meier's Pirates! This is the game that AoP and Sea Dogs should have been, but the learning curve is very steep initially.
Summary: If you are looking at this game, you have probably heard of it. If you have, you already know that when you install the game off this DVD, it will not work. On Win7 the TAGES drivers will not work. You can download them from TAGES official website. Still, when you launch the game, it will probably crash before launch. Or, if you are lucky - while you are boarding your first ship. And this is when you find out about patches.
Seems to be a remake of another game but the broke some of the best features

Summary: They've over complicated trading, and seem to have a lot more bugs in the software than the game it was copied from. I've only been playing it a couple days and have had at least 20 crashes. I've always felt software should be ready out of the box, you should be able to start using it immediately without having to read pages and pages of instructions, and without having to download massive patches, I can understand finding a few issues and improvements to be made with...
