Summary: Downloading steam, whatever that is, locked my computer up and I had to do a restore. There is no way to get my money back from this defective mess so I am screwed. I will remember this when it's time to decide if I am doing prime for another year.
Good game, too bad for the game won't let you play unless you are playing online on Steam.

Summary: As a game goes I give it 5 stars. I really liked the game and my old one just does not play right any more, so I was happy to get an updated version. While the game itself I am enjoying as much as always, I HATE the fact that I have to be connected to Steam and be online. I was looking for a version that did not require me to be online and I thought this was it. Very disappointed it is not.

Summary: A very nice refresher off the classic AoE II. Works great on my aging-but-still-functioning Windows 7 machine. The increased population limit is a nice addition to the game, on top of some aesthetics improvements. The AI are completely dumb on island maps, however, even on hardest difficulty. The Steam client is wonderful as well for online gameplay. Overall, a 5/5 star rating. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this one.
Summary: I use to play this game back in 2001, and it is still fun. I use this on PC running Windows 7. When I loaded it up on several computers (to include a gaming computer with a graphics card) the colors were all messed up. However, I did do a Google search to see if there was a fix for it, and there was. It was really easy to install http://www.xomicron.com/software/directdrawfix/ I got that directly off the Microsoft Windows web site.
