Summary: Pros: Puzzles were fun, exploring the island and hotel, 4 possible endings Cons: Constant backtracking, easy to skip important items or information, in order to move on you must to talk to everyone (sometimes twice) which leads to about half the game being nothing but watching characters interact with one another (and by "interact I mean "stand around talking"), main character doesn't seem to "react" to information gathered from said conversations, saving (often) can be...
Summary: I mostly enjoyed the game. I liked the plot, characters, enviroment, and voice acting. There were 2 cons for me: 1- Towards the end, I had to wonder around so many areas to find my next hint. It could be a small item laying on the ground, in a place I've looked a million times before. The game map is large, with tons of places to search, so this got very annoying. 2- I had numerous items in my inventory when the game ended that I never needed.
Summary: This is a mystery game vs. a search for hidden items game which I thought I was buying. Without a chapter by chapter cheat that I found on the internet, I'm not sure I would've been able to get through this game. It's not what I was looking for. The graphics and sounds were good, just not as much fun as I thought.
Summary: Wouldn't recommend for children due to some profanity. Game does require you to think alot and pay close attention to detail(GOOD)! Definitely need a lot of spare time before setting down to play this one.
Summary: I love adventure games. And I love mystery novels. So what could be better than the Nancy Drew Adventure series and these Agatha Christie games. Not much! I would say 3.5 stars. 3, because the graphics of the people are not great (weird hair!). But the sea and weather is beautiful. Also, I don't think some of the puzzles were very logical. I needed to look up answers, because I didn't want to walk around for another 3 hours to find something.
Summary: The game itself was interesting. Two drawbacks are 1. There is a glitch with the game that boots you out stating your computer has a virus (which is not the case) and 2. Game does not allow you to pass over dialog from game actors which became extremely long and boring.
