Summary: I wasn't a huge fan of this game. While I more or less enjoy hidden object scenes, I believe that they always belong in the midst of a riveting plot, with other significant puzzle activities and point-and-click work to do as well. Unfortunately, "Dead Man's Folly" has none of these.
Summary: This is just an OK game for me. Good graphics & artwork, especially the cottage garden scenes are beautiful. However, some objects that were placed in the 'background distance' tend to be quite small and hard to determine. Items were easy to find and I hardly need to use the hint system.
Summary: I'm a big fan of Agatha Christie's books and the game follows this particular mystery fairly well. The graphics are good although some of the objects you need to find are extremely small. The music is nice and understated.
Summary: Lovely graphics, interesting story, lots of playing time; but it needs an option for an untimed mode and a more generous hint system. If you use the hints correctly (Click on the name of the item after you click for a hint; and you will see the object surrounded by stars.
Summary: Yes it is fairly simple, but I didn't find this one boring. It is a reasonable length game. There was only a couple of items I had to use the hint on, but the game was challenging enough for some enjoyment.
Summary: This game was interesting, but a little disappointing for me, as I have played the HOG Agatha Christie's Peril at End House. The game played smooth but some of the items were not visible unless you click the hint.
