Summary: Bookworm Adventures 2 is a great continuation of PopCap's battling vocabulary game. The two games are the best competitive word knowledge games out there (not that this is a very large niche). The graduated challenges are cleanly done, so that by the time you have completed the game, you have a wide set of strategies that you use to spell to victory. The only weakness is the game soundtrack, which isn't bad, but doesn't get close to the music in PopCap's Plants vs.
Summary: This game was so overrated! Yes it's true that it was slightly different from the rest of the HOG style but it was nothing spectacular or unique at all. The only difference I can determine was that 1) instead of making the player read a long written journal, the story was narrated to you as you were playing the hidden objects scenes, and 2) there were a few "moving" hidden objects scenes.
Summary: Wow! I couldn't agree less with the Gamezebo reviewer: "What's worst about this is that with few traditional puzzles and little narrative, the game becomes roughly ninety percent hidden object sequences." What the.......? How is having 90% hidden object sequences in a HIDDEN OBJECT GAME suddenly a problem? I wish that EVERY game sold as a HOG actually WERE 90% hidden object sequences!
