Summary: Yes, it follows the original pretty well. I just don't like being interrupted all of the time with reading it. On the other hand, it's the same with nearly all of the hidden object games. I want one where I just get a list of things and find them. I don't need characters or a story.
Summary: Another game from Pop Cap which means it suits a younger player such as 12 or under. It is okay and keeps you searching for objects but uses the same scenes throughout the game. It does have well hidden objects.
Summary: When i got this game, there was no new update for my Nvidia GeForce GT 620 graphic card. I tried that when my mouse was invisible when i opened the game. The old graphic driver was published in 2012 and this game came out in 2010. Amazon does not accept returns on downloaded games and support is nil for this game at Amazon or at the game's site. As usual, I got the best information from blogs, although, this particular game was not discussed much.
Summary: An easy and very basic hidden objects game with a few interesting 'educational' information on some sunken ships/boats. Graphics, music, sound, effects and animation were all average. As for the story it was negligible and nothing exciting. The developers had to add a 'story' to make it slightly interesting so that it didn't become a boring documentary game. Overall, an ok game.
Summary: Although the environment was nice and the hidden objects were usually location appropriate(so much nicer to find a fish in a pond than in a lamp shade), I found this game extremely boring. After finding the first set of books, everything just kind of blurred and although I was determined to finish the game I had paid for, the last 10 or so scenes were almost torture; I would think that I was done and it just kept going on and on.
Summary: I purchased this game after downloading and playing the free trial. The graphics are beautiful and the music is lovely and soothing. The hidden-object action is fairly simple. There is no mystery to solve. As others have pointed out, the game is simply another retelling of the story so many of us know from the movie and classic novel.
