Summary: I was hoping for a game similar to the "death from above" section in Call of Duty 4. If you value graphics in a game and have a high-end system like me, you will be disappointed with this game. If you don't care so much about graphics and just like to blow stuff up, then it might be worth the 8 bucks. It wasn't worth my time, I returned it.
Summary: So it really fun until you reach the level where there are a lot of SAMS to deal with.(Some sort of HQ level) Here what happens to me all the time. 1.)I destroy all the SAMS and survie but I fail the mission becasue too many enemies are left alive. 2.)I ignore teh SAMS kill alot of bad guys but my collateral damage is too high, so mission failed. Then 3.)I just flat out get killed. The game is really neat for what its worth.
Summary: I bought AC-130 Operation Devastation at Best Buy for my PC with Windows 7. The info on the box advises it has arcade and campaign modes with scenarios for Viet Nam, Panama, and Iraq, but I found that it (at least the one I bought) only has the 4 Viet Nam scenarios. Too bad, because it's a fun stress reliever that doesn't require a check ride with an instructor to play. Don't waste your money!...
Summary: The game is simple yet fun. The Panama HQ level is essentially impossible to beat so good luck actually getting to Desert Storm. There needs to be a patch to solve certain gameplay issues. Otherwise it's worth the $10.
Summary: I was a huge fan of the AC-130 mission in COD4--so when I saw this game I thought I would give it a try. It is basically an exact copy of the idea from COD4--So if you liked that mission you will probably like this game. However, it should be noted that this is a budget title--and while it has much of the same look and feel of COD4--it is not as highly polished or playable.
Summary: Can't even get this game to load on my computer. Updated all drivers and still can't get it to run. Poor design, and absolutely no tech support. Their "version" of "tech support" is to blame your (the customer) computer, and not design a patch to make the game run properly. This is why I will stick to my Playstation3 from now on. Ridiculous!!!
Summary: The game has a limited interface and limited options. For a "full" game, the graphics are more limited than the one episode in Call-Of-Duty 4. I expected a lot more, and was very disappointed. AC-130 is not worth the price and shipping cost.
Summary: If you've played the AC-130 level from Call of Duty 4, this is VERY SIMILAR. When I played that level, I was immediately hoping for a WHOLE GAME just like it. There are 12 missions, which is WAY too short. The last three missions are what I would call "hard", and the rest of the levels are VERY EASY, with an occasional medium thrown in. I literally had to destroy my own buildings to beat the last level, as it is way-over-the-top difficult.
