Reviews and Problems with A Game of Thrones: Genesis
Showing 1-10 of 23
21 November 2015
Summary: A promising opening with the first 3 episodes, only for the final three to be complete buildup towards a real conflict resolution that never comes. The 'finale' is the final nail in the coffin as it abruptly ends without conclusion to any plotlines, which sets up for a 'season two'.
Summary: In my opinion, this is the worst Telltale game that I have played (started with TWD S1). This is the game where your choices matter the least, where the plot moves in directions for no logical reason other than to "shock" the player.
Summary: This game is undoubtingly weaker, MUCH weaker than the TV series. The story is weak, most of the characters are bland and boring. Graphically this game feels and looks much worse, than "The Wolf Among Us" and "The Walking Dead", sometimes to the point of looking pretty awful.

Excerpt: Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series is an interactive story based on George R.R. Martin’s popular series of novels. Have I read any of the books? Heck, no. Have you seen the size of those tomes? Far too wordy for someone whose literary limit does not extend beyond four-panel Garfield comics.
Pros: Decent story told through 4 different perspectives . Cameos from the show .
Cons: Ugly graphics . Ends on a disappointing cliffhanger .
When you play the Game of Thrones - you win, or you die.

Pros: Easy to play, fantastic voice acting from original actors
Cons: Some might argue more an interactive story than a game
Summary: So the #1 thing every gamer should know, assuming they enjoy quality games, is that they should do research before purchasing and preferably purchase after the release ( Pre-order bonuses are dirty and really not worth it, even morally wrong in some cases such as Elder Scrolls Online ), there are...
