Summary: Good game, but a few drawbacks. One thing I found is that the trucks are new, so is the cabin, BUT THE RADIO IN THE CABINS ARE FROM A 2002 GAME CALLED HARD TRUCK:18 WHEELS OF STEEL! Same thing with the trailers. Some are new, others are from Haulin' back in 2006.
Summary: Fun time-killer broken into multiple tasks of relatively short duration, allowing you to decide how much time you wnat to spend on it. Well written, but i wish it kept more perfomance statistics.
Summary: As said in previous review.. this is a Arcade based game. so if you are looking for long term fun then you need to find it somewhere else. Graphics are amazing, trucks drive very well! Vast selection of different rigs and trailers. This whole game can probably be beaten in a day.
Summary: It's been years since I've bought or played an 18 Wheels of Steel sim, so I grabbed this one, not expecting much. And in terms of gameplay, from what I remember of the old games, this one has been dumbed down a bit for the average joe.
Summary: This is a decent game. But not as good as the sequel to this game, Extreme Trucker 2. But before we get to that, let's talk about this one. Driving is realistic. But the turning radius of the trucks is poor, and not much different than older games.
Summary: I've had this for some time now, playing every once in a while. I love driving simulators, but this is more like an arcade game. This is the only truck driving game I've tried, and while it's lacking in realism, it is kind of fun for a change of pace from racing games, etc..
