Summary: a good city builder and the graphics have progressed by leaps and bounds since its predisaster easy to play except for maybe plotting shipping courses. The closest thing you might get to a Tropico 2 experience.
Summary: I've played all the games in this franchise and this is my favorite. The graphics are astounding! It's light on war/combat but heavy on city /building/management/simulation which is what I prefer. Highly recommended for everyone who loves city building.
Summary: I bought 1701AD Gold edition. I can't get it to install or run, can't get anything to download to make it work. Will try to return it for a refund. When I buy a game new in the box I expect to be able to install it on my computer and play it. This one is a no go.
Summary: This is a great game that teaches young people about economics and how market places work, while at the same time providing hours of clean entertainment. Have fun building your New World up from an uninhabited island to a thriving, prosperous nation complete with an opulent palace. Fight off marauding pirates, establish trading routes with other civilizations, and declare your independence from the queen (to be established through an all-out war with her royal fleet.
