Good Wheel, Great Price

Summary: I wanted a good driving wheel in the $100-$200 range. In this price range, the F430 wheel is by far the best I ran across. The force feedback is good and the wheel is easy to grip/use. Works with ever driving/racing game I throw at it. Works great with F1 2010.
Summary: I bought this on the basis of the reviews here, and my faith in the Thrustmaster name, but I have to say I'm very disappointed. The feel is notchy and stiff, the force feedback is never consistent and seems to get worse with use, and the "Manettino" switch flashes lights when you turn left (and it doesn't work!). My advice is avoid this wheel at all costs.
Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 Force Feedback Racing Wheel For PC
22 February 2011
Summary: Price: I think that it is definitely worth it. If you are not such a big gaming racer, like me, than you should go with something smaller and cheaper. However, if this is something you will be using constantly it is a good choice. You can get wheels with more features like an clutch or stick shifter if you are very much into those things. Others things like that bring the price range to $200-$300, which truly isn't necessary.
Amazon.com sold this item as brand-new but it is a second hand item! Bad experience!

Summary: This item is sold by amazon LLC but it is not a brand-new item. Some parts of wheel gets rusty and the outer box is not in sealed condition! Amazon.com sell such a second-hand item to me but declare it as brand-new on their webpage. I will never trust the products from amazon LLC any more! Very very bad experience!
Summary: Hooked up my F430 with F1 2010 on the PS3 and it was mindblowing experience, the forcefeedback works perfect.. i know this is for PC but i wanted a FF for my F1 2010 game and this one was just a fantastic looking wheel at a really good price, the F430 wireless is double and without FF. Hats of to Amazon for such a great deal.!!
Summary: i guess amazon just got a bad batch considering my review and the other most recent review have been having problems. well first for some reason the box was already opened when i got it, and it seemed someone had opened everything up. this maybe amazon policy to check the product, i don't know. as soon as i took out the wheel itself, i saw scratches all over the medal paddles which was kind of disappointing.
Summary: Maybe I got a dud, but I only got about 3 hours of play with it before the wheel would just "un-calibrate" randomly every 30 seconds or so. Even in the calibration screen it would bounce around all over the place when I turned the wheel back and forth. It's too bad, because it seemed solidly built.
Summary: I have been looking for a steering wheel for quite some time. After much research I settled on this wheel and I couldn't be happier. This was a fraction of the cost of some of the other wheels I was considering. In the end it was really all I needed. Unless you're an ultra hardcore racing sim jock this is as far as you need to go.
Summary: I've had this product for about a year now. I used to have a Logitech momo, but that broke after only a few months. This unit is better in every way. The wheel rotates 270 degrees, not 900 like some of the more expensive models. I personally find 270 mode to allow for quicker reactions and prefer it to the more precise 900 degree mode. The construction is amazing for the price I paid, which was about 80 bucks for a brand new unit.
