Mass defect with the thumbsticks

Richard Rivera "River", Amazon
14 March 2012
  • Summary: Two months into owning the controller with light to moderate usage and no mis-handling the right thumbstick now permanantly veers quickly down without touching it. When it started I thought for a couple of weeks that it was a defect of the game I was playing because it started just when I began a new game. Oh no, its the controller. I hate to give it one star, because otherwise its a great controller. Good weight, responsive, ergonomic, two buttons you can remap...

Not worth the trouble

J. Shumpert, Amazon
1 February 2012
  • Summary: Initially I found the controller to be a little awkward to use, but I eventually got used to it. I liked the adjustable stick tension and how easy it is to press the face (a,b,x,y) buttons. To me it seems like the triggers have too long of a pull to fully depress them though. HOWEVER, none of this matters. My controller died after about 28 days of having it. During this timespan I maybe used it for 5 hours total.

Sloppy product

Marvin Manhattan, Amazon
8 August 2011
  • Summary: Since the wireless controllers on the Xbox are junk I saw this one, it looked like it could work fine. I've purchased from Razer in the past as well, for PC Gaming. They sell real half-assed expensive products that are cheaply made. They lure you into buying their products by their cosmetic appearance and hefty price tag. It appears here..... it's no different. I hardly play my Xbox as it is as well.. maybe 3 hours a week, I only go this around early May as well.

Tried 4, Each one had its own unique defect

JK, Amazon
26 July 2011
  • Summary: I was extremely excited about getting this controller for playing Call of Duty. When I got it the controller seemed awesome I quickly unpackaged it and got ready to sit down and play some games with my brand new razer onza controller. This controller would have been amazing if the build quality was there. It seems to me that they did a rush job building the controllers. In the past week I have gone through four of these controllers and each one had its own unique defect.

Made very very cheap.

VMC, Amazon
29 May 2011
  • Summary: "sign" right thumb stick started moving on its own within a month and the left extra bumper broke with the first week. i thought this controller was good because of the reviews, but its made very cheap. an official xbox 360 controller last me about 2 or 3 years. i just wanted a GOOD new controller, but this one won't do. my review: don't buy it, unless you're planning on buying more then one.

The evolution of a review...

Kenneth Spragg "Militant queer, renaissance-thug", Amazon
17 August 2012
  • Summary: I bought the "N7 edition" of this controller and I'm duplicating this review across all the different paintjobs they give the same piece of hardware, because everyone should know about this. If I'd reviewed this the first week that I spent playing Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer with it, about a month and a half ago, I'd have given it 4 stars (like it) because it looked sharp and I liked a couple of the features-- like no batteries/packs to die on me, the backlit and...
