Summary: I own 5 of these sets, and the most recent was purchased through newegg market vendor "Funtech" which is based out of china. The controller I received is definitely a Chinese clone. Given it is a very good copy, but its not the official MS product I though I was ordering.
Pros: Xbox 360 controllers are the most supported gamepads in PC gaming. Fairly ergonomic design. Wireless freedom.
Summary: I ordered this to have a second controller for my pc. It works and the price was cheaper that other options. However I did notice that d pad looks different than my other controller I am not a console gamer so I don't know if the controller I bought would be a like the first revision.
Pros: I have bought this controller for my new gaming PC setup and I like this controller. I have no signal lost with the wireless receiver. I had ps3 for 5 year and I prefer the PS3 controller but it's a very good controller and I think the quality of the controller are slightly better than PS3 contro...
Cons: The controller is little too big for me. No battery pack include.
Summary: Was previously using a Logitech Rumblepad 2. It's an eventfully controller that had survived much abuse, but it's starting to show its' age. Since i was getting tired of having to tweak files and genes into thinking it was an Xbox controller, i decided to get this thing.
Pros: Game compatibility.
Cons: Small. Placement of left thumb stick still weirds me out.
Summary: Had to search for a software app for turning off unit. BTW- being a exclusive PC user, if you are not used to these types of controllers, you may find it a steep learning curve. I did not like this type of controller, so I returned it.
Pros: Great X-box type controller for windows 7 64bit, I suppose.
Cons: No hardware on/off button on controller section, itself.
Summary: No real problems with the controller as it works great with everything, especially steam games. However, one thing to note is the controllers lack of an actual on/off switch. The controller automatically turns off after several minutes of idleness but it would be much better if you could control it...
