Summary: I think it is over priced. I think it is the single most expensive part on my computer but I think the price has gone down since I bought it nearly a year ago. It wasn't hard to install. I had to take off the side case vent to fit it but that was not a big deal. My cpu stays in the 50-55 range even when playing games. Its freaking cool looking!!!! but my case isn't see through so oh well.
Summary: I like it. It is built well. I agree with the request for sizes. It fits in a shuttle- almost. You just need all right angled power and sata connectors. They cost a pretty penny if you dont order from somewhere online. I pulled the stock fan as the cooler is right up against the case's exhaust fan, which I swapped out for a 120 cfm fan that I'm going to put a fan speed controller. As of right now it keeps my 3.06 Core 2 Duo at a nice 104F/40c.
Summary: I was warned that it was large, but as I was purchasing a barebones kit with full size case, I didn't listen. I made it fit but had to cut on the Ultra case a little. I bought it because specs rated it as the lowest dBa rating. It is not bad but it is way noisier than either of my last two HP computers. Overall I believe it is good quality though just a little overpriced.
Summary: I installed this on a system that i put together today. 200GB + 120GB HD + GeForce 8800 GT + 2 DVD DL Drives + 3GB Ram + AMD X2 6000+ on an asus mother board. It started into the bios screen and read cpu fan has failed. I checked all of the cords leading away from it and they were hooked up.
Summary: this is a really nice looking and good performing product, IF you have a small enough cpu... the page doesnt show it but it is recomended for core 2 duo and below, some have used it for quad core's and said it was perfect. i tried it on my q6700 and i could not once get the temperature below 52 degrees celcius ( and thats at idle speed ). i would not recomend this cooler to quad core users, any smaller cpu's i would highly recomend this cooler.
Summary: I bought this a few months ago and was stunned by its size...lol. I think they need to put a picture of it next to a CPU or installed on a mobo to get an idea of the size. I'm not sure how the other reviewer got his CPU to 48 degrees Fahrenheit...might it be Celsius? I idle around 40C which I think is due to my fan arrangement and need to figure out how to lower it so I can OC the CPU (Q6600). Like others have mentioned.
