  • Excerpt: With the ZM-RF1, they seem to have a product that is desperately seeking a purpose. Zalman's Reserator series of liquid cooling systems fit into a target market by virtue of their silence. By adding the ZM-RF1, the user turns a silent system into a quiet one with lackluster performance. In my opinion, a 2-3C drop in temps is a poor trade-off for the added noise.

  • Summary: The Zalman Reserator 1 Plus with ZM-RF1 Fan Kit is installed on the following system: Lian-Li PC767 Case Athlon XP 2400+ Mobile @ 2.4 Ghz / 1.9v Abit NF7-S v2.0 @ 209 x 11.5 Gainward GF4 Ti4200 @ 297/545 The server runs F@H 24/7 so temperatures generated by the CPU are the most extreme this system ever sees. I captured the high/low log of Motherboard Monitor prior to installing the ZM-RF1 to provide a baseline for comparing.
