Summary: Overall a long-lasting high performance cooler. Would buy again if I had to make the choice.
Pros: -Blows extremely cool air (keeps laptop cool even while gaming on a nongaming laptop) -Very quiet even on max (and cold enough to allow me to keep my internal laptop fan off which is a lot louder) -Perfect amount of tilt for ease of access (personal preference) -My Inspiron 1564 stays put reasona...
Cons: -Short 2.0 USB cable just barely fits -USB port is only on the back which makes the short cable an even greater flaw -No convenient way to clean out the fans themselves because they are located in the back and are not detachable as far as I can tell
Pros: Keeps my MacBook Pro temps. below 50 degrees on most all levels unless I'm doing some intense apps, like PS and other programs opened up and being consumed at the same time. Very quiet. Stays quiet without weird noises which I've experienced with other cooling pads.
Cons: None that I can think of except I wish the USB cord that comes with this cooling pad was longer to fit in my USB hub.
Summary: I bought this for my dad's new laptop. It's sturdy, elevates the laptop off the desk, and has a variable fan speed. The fans are just loud enough you can tell they're on but quiet enough not to be distracting. All in all, I think it's a good value.
Summary: I paired this with my new Asus Ul80vt and It works well. The laptops usb ports turn off in sleep mode, so I dont waste power when the laptop can cool itself. On high setting (which isn't too loud if you use sound) I can keep my laptop cool even when playing games.
Pros: Keeps laptop cool Extra USB port Cable Included Quiet
Cons: Annoying red light when turned on Only Cools Bottom Feet
