Summary: Picked this up to cool an ASUS RT-AC66U router and my modem to extend their longevity based on my networking usage in the house. Set it to low, and it's fantastic. Wired straight into a USB port off the router itself for power. For notebook users, it would have been nice for them to include a power cable for AC usage while at a desk and not be forced to occupy a USB port. However, it has a single replication USB port so you don't lose any net.
Summary: My 15.6 laptop fits with room to spare! I am not sure why there other reviews that said only their 13 inch MacBook fi. Unless it the product was redesigned. I am not sure why they wrote itt. As. Far as the cooling ability of the cooling pad, it is AWESOME!
Summary: I haven't even received my laptop fan yet!! Since i am familiar with the product and have used zalman coolers for years, i have no doubt that i will be satisfied with the product itself. However, I feel swindled by amazon and will start taking my business to other retailers like newegg to buy any computer equipment. I have used amazon for over 12 years and have always been moderately satisfied with shipping speed.
Summary: First off-yes, the ZM-NC1000 is pretty expensive for a laptop cooler. However, it is worth the extra cash. Unlike most coolers made with cheap plastic-the ZM-NC1000 is made of aluminum, not plastic. And the fans actually cool the ENTIRE computer-not just the two spots that other coolers focus on. I have an Acer Extensa 4420 laptop, and whoever created the cooling system for it was an idiot.
Summary: What a great product. My CPU on my Dell Inspiron was heating up to 98 degrees celsius. This cooler has been unbelievable - literally dropping the max temperature by 20 degrees. The only downside is that my 15.6' laptop is actually slightly too wide for it, which is my fault for not taking measurements. But I bought some sticky rubber thingies and stuck them to the cool so it now holds my laptop properly.
Pros: Cools well, Not Plastic - will last long, Fan Speed Control, On and Off button, USBs
Cons: Has a bit of weight to it, still very portable though

Summary: When i first open the box on the cooler and i touch it, i got on my hand a solid and cool feel to it, so that's good, i wrapped out and see it, its gorgeous, really its very pretty and it have a very solid feel like as i said, the fan control goes of 1100 rpm to 1500 (1500 is enough for cooling your laptop on those gaming sessions jaja) the cooler has 2 fans on it and a total of 629 "little" holes on it that they do really work great!, in a word i can say amazing!
Summary: This product has lasted me for years! When I saw $48 I was hesitant. But after going through many $15-$20 coolers I figured "you get what you pay for", so I purchased this item and I know it has saved me so much money because it's very strong and very cool. I run my laptop hours and hours of the day and my laptop fan hasn't run high since. I use a HP d7 and the large size of the cooler works perfectly for my 17'' wide laptop.
Summary: I was thrilled with this Notebook Cooler for about a year... then it periodically would start shutting off unless I angled the cord in a certain direction. After doing that for about two months, it quit working altogether. I'd expected it to last longer... it wasn't "cheap" by any means, but hey...we had a good, solid run for a while there.
