Summary: Overall it does control the fans well like its suppose to and looks good in my Cooler Master Elite 431 Case. Score: Build Quality Could have been better -1 Egg and the fact that I had to jury rig some cables to get the Cpu fan controller to work -1 Egg.
Pros: -Very Colorful LED's and are easy on the eyes ...when they work. -Keeps my 4 120mm Cooler master Blue LED fans nice and quiet at around 1000rpm.
Cons: -Sensor wire (the yellow one) that goes to my cpu fan fan was damaged and had to use electrical tape to keep in place. -2 Front LED's dont work (Fan switch 1 & 2) -Come with splitter cables to control multiple fans with one dial.. Doesnt Work.
Summary: Would not recommend this product to friends.
Pros: Very well built. Thick Metal construction, very strait forward fan controls. Mounting holes made it fit nicely in an antec 1200 case.
Cons: LEDs are too bright. Unit stopped actually "controlling" fan speed after a month of use. Would only power fans & not control the rpm rate. Still working after 1 yr+ of use but there are extremely cheaper alternatives than buying a $40+ fan controller to just power the fans.
Summary: Seems like a lot of cons, but this is a good looking controller, at least for my build, and it does what it says it does. It will only work with 3 pin fans and the two switch controlled channels have to have two-wire fans with no connector.
Pros: Controls the fans just as it is supposed to. The blue LEDs look good with my case.
Cons: The 4 knobs are somewhat cheap. After a weeks worth of use, the first knob keeps spinning after you are all the way up or down on the adjustment. I'll probably have to glue them on, but no big deal. Another odd thing is, the LEDs on the 4 adjustible channels flicker, and they are connected to ZAL...
Summary: They offered an RMA (but with the shipping cost and hastle of removing and sending it back and waitng for a new one just isnt worth it.) Ill keep this one till it dies completely but it should have lasted ALOT longer than this. 7 months in and 2 of the knobs are basically useless.
Pros: It does what it is supposed to. It nicely controls the fan speed and can make even the louded fans quiet so you can sleep at night.
Cons: After about 4 months 1 knob failed, first the LED went then a few weeks later the knob. It does still work a little but not like the others. Then after about 7 months a 2nd LED went out.
Pros: I've had this fan controller over a year now and it has done its job for the most part. The connectors don't match up with my fans, but I was able to cut and solder all the wires together to make it work. It does a good job controlling fan speed.
Cons: Over the course of a year, I've had to take my computer apart twice due to this fan controller. Two of the round controls failed on me. I was able to fix that by splicing the fans that were previously connected to the two failed controls to the two working controls. So I'm controlling six fans wi...
Summary: If I missed the way to disable the pulsing lights, so be it.
Pros: Solid build. Simple, which is all a fan controller needs to be. Responsive buttons / switches. Good look.
Cons: very bright LEDs on the front panel pulse at a speed in proportion to the fans rotation. At full speed, they appear almost solid, but you don't buy a fan controller to run fans at full speed all the time. In my oppionion if you have a case with a door that covers the 5.25 bays, this is a great fa...
