  • Excerpt: With great looks and excellent performance, this cooler would be an asset to most any compatible graphics board out there. Installation was a snap thanks to Zalman's online installation guides and compatibility charts, and the Fatal1ty's noise-to-cooling ratio is very good.

  • Summary: The Fatal1ty FS-V7 VGA cooler does its job, and does it very well, providing a 5 degree C drop on the BFG 6600GT OC GPU. The fan is just about silent in the 5V mode, and fairly loud in the 12V mode. Your tastes and cooling requirements will have to be weighed in choosing what level is right for you.

  • Conclusion: So in conclusion, the Zalman FS-V7 is a competent cooler offering significant cooling benefit to graphics cards such as my 7900GS and I’m sure many others too. It is however based on an ageing design and it’s cooling ability will no doubt have been eclipsed by now by other coolers.
  • Pros: Looks great with its red fins and LEDs, Easy to fit, Quiet operation, Competitive price
  • Cons: Has been bettered by non-red coolers, Would be nice to have the option of connecting the fan to the graphics card

  • Conclusion: 测试中我们使用的显卡是ASUS EN6600GT(静音版),这款显卡的原装散热使用的是热管+鳍片,而且鳍片端可以转动90度。 我们仍然在开放环境下进行测试,室温控制在24.8±0.3℃,分别记录在使用原装散热器与FS-V7的情况下待机二十分钟、运行小球十分钟、二十分钟、三十分钟、停止运行小球程序五分钟时核心的温度(利用EVEREST记录),而对于显存温度(记录最高温度)以及PCB板上的温度(最高温度),则只记录了FS-V7情况下的数据,因为原装散热器面积非常大,无法测量到显存及PCB板上的最高温度。...
