Zalman CNPS9500 AM2
is the most beautifully designed heatsink and fan CPU cooler, the shape and design is very much functional. The flower type design makes a good air tunnel allowing the fan to draw air from the front passing over the fins and out through the back and the hot air will in turn be drawn out of the system via the system chasis fan (see image below).
Summary: We tested this cooler when clocked at stock speeds and when overclocking our CPU. We ran the fan at its lowest setting and on the maximum setting on the Zalman CNPS9500 AM2. The stock cooler was plugged into the motherboard and ran on high speed during the tests. The results below show what the stock cooler can do at its best, and compare the Zalman cooler at both low and high speeds.

Conclusion: Zalman keeps up with current power hungry CPUs by changing its CPU cooler design once again. Its 3 heatpipes, a first for Zalman CPU coolers, successfully remove heat from even the most overclocked CPU. The all-copper design was passed down from previous models. The smooth polished base is a rare sight among coolers, so that is another plus, and shows the quality of the product. Zalman also lives up to its CNPS name.
Summary: The CNPS9500 AM2 heatsink is identical in materials and size to previous CNPS9500-series heatsinks, but since this cooler is being launched in conjunction with the nVidia nForce 500-series chipset and socket AM2 Athlon64, it has received a few special touches.
Conclusion: Der Zalman CNSP 9500 AM2 weiß eindeutig zu überzeugen. Sofort fällt sein sehr schickes Design und die sehr gute Verarbeitung auf. Auch bei der Leistung zeigt der sich Zalman keine blöße und kühlt unseren Testprozessor auf sehr gute Werte. Zusätzlich lässt sich der Zalman im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Lüftern sehr leicht installieren.
